The Young Warriors Team

Jason Robert Hill
Founder
Born and raised in northeast Ohio, Jason has called Los Angeles, California, home for nearly 25 years. A devoted father, friend, mentor, mentee, author, coach, speaker, and founder, Jason is, above all, a heart-led warrior and a dedicated servant to humanity. In 2010, he established the Young Warriors nonprofit. Through years of personal growth, he developed and now imparts a set of core principles known as "My Warrior's Way," offering a guide to navigate the profound challenges faced by today's youth. Jason, drawing from his own journey, actively teaches these principles to various youth groups and foundations in Los Angeles. Reflecting on his impactful journey, he affirms, "It's been one hell of a ride, and every bit of it has been worth it." He consistently emphasizes, "I'm grateful I never gave up on myself."

Eric Dickerson
Chief Ambassador
In 2011, Eric Dickerson joined Young Warriors as the chief ambassador, bringing his passion for making a positive impact to the organization. Known for his remarkable achievements in the NFL, Eric was the second overall pick in the 1983 NFL Draft by the Los Angeles Rams. During his rookie season, he set records for rushing attempts, rushing yards, and rushing touchdowns, earning him prestigious accolades such as All-Pro, Pro Bowl, Player of the Year, and Rookie of the Year.
Continuing his success into the second season, Dickerson joined the elite 2000 rushing yards club and surpassed O.J. Simpson's record for 100-yard rushing games in a season. His extraordinary performance in 1984, totaling 2,105 rushing yards, set an NFL season record that remains unmatched to this day. Retiring as the NFL's second-leading rusher of all time, Eric Dickerson was rightfully inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1999.
Despite facing challenges in his upbringing, with little connection to his father and being raised by his great-aunt and great-uncle, Viola and Kary Dickerson, Eric found a guiding influence in Viola. In 2013, driven by a desire to address one of America's critical social issues—fatherless children—Eric Dickerson joined forces with Jason Hill and the Young Warriors team, contributing his dedication to making a difference in the lives of young individuals.
